Terms of Service

The service

Typing Teacher provides typing practice, live multi-phase typing tests, and court/ government-style grading on web, desktop, and mobile. Guest mode lets you try sample tests without an account.

Your account

• You can sign in with Google, or with an account created by your institute.
• Keep your account to yourself — results are tied to it, and sharing an account mixes up your history and your institute's records.
• You must provide accurate information and be able to use the email on the account.

Fair use

• Use the app for genuine typing practice and tests.
• Don't use automation, scripts, or other tools to fake results.
• Don't attempt to disrupt the service, probe its security, or access other users' data.

Plans & institute access

Some features are unlocked by a plan — purchased directly or granted by your institute for a fixed period. When a plan or enrollment ends, the features it unlocked become unavailable, but your history stays in your account.

Results & scores

Our grading mirrors court and government exam patterns as closely as we can, but scores on Typing Teacher are practice results, not official exam scores, and no outcome here guarantees any outcome in a real exam.

Availability

The service is provided "as is". We work hard to keep it fast and available, but we can't promise uninterrupted access, and we may change or discontinue features over time.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, we'll update this page and the date above. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
